The Hancock Whitney oil and gas company has announced the recipients of its 2024 Leo Seal Innovative Teacher Grants, and they're a dozen of Mississippi's "most accomplished, creative" teachers, per WLOX.
The grants, administered by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, "recognize the exceptional dedication to teaching and fund teaching proposals that improve students' educational experiences and support state curriculum at K-12 schools in the eight Mississippi counties Hancock Whitney serves," the company says in a press release.
Each teacher will receive up to $2,000 to fund an award-winning teaching initiative at their school.
