Calgary’s Dexterity Ventures has released version 2.0 of their GIVE_api, which allows developers to incorporate philanthropy into their web and mobile projects.

With the GIVE_api, developers can harness this information to integrate social good into their clients’ apps and websites.

“For example, mobile game developers can add a charitable giving feature to their games, or enterprise app developers can boost company CSR efforts by facilitating direct donations,” said Adile Abbadi-MacIntosh, Chief Technology Officer at DVI.

The GIVE_api is free. “For example, mobile game developers can add a charitable giving feature to their games, or enterprise app developers can boost company CSR efforts by facilitating direct donations.”

DVI is the parent company of Place2Give.com. Organizations such as Fundrazr and Give A Mile have used DVI technology for their own social good projects.

Thank You for Five Years of Believing in Our Method and Our Message

The new site was then under the rubric, aWhere Issues Matter.a There were three other words in our founder’s heads: aWill This Worka?

In the years since that May 2010 launch, we hope that NJ Spotlight has answered that question in the affirmative and has proved to be a vital read for those who care about the workings of state government and how it affects all communities.

Our success was hardly a foregone conclusion: The original idea came from a few former Star-Ledger abeata reporters who just wanted to keep writing, and who had a vision — and business model — of what the future of Statehouse news coverage could be.

In fact, when we first sketched out our ideas back in early 2009, the working name was NJ SPOT, for aState Paper of Tomorrow.a

We were lucky enough to connect with the Community Foundation of New Jersey, which had its own dreams for reviving civic-minded journalism in the face of dwindling newsrooms and shrinking coverage.

Our parent organization to this day, the Morristown-based foundation seeded the site with a $10,000 grant.

And if you canat make our party, we hope you will consider .

Thanks.

Atlanta’s and Georgia’s legacy of planned giving is long and distinguished, and the Georgia Planned Giving Council (GPGC) exists to build on that history and grow the impact of planned giving across the region and the state. Each year, through a rigorous process, GPGC selects a professional advisor who exemplifies the best in incorporating a charitable focus on planned giving in his/her professional practice, as well as in his/her personal life, to receive the annual Greater Good Award.

Greater Good Award recipients focus their respective practices on advising charitable individuals in order to increase the quantity and quality of planned gifts to charities in Georgia. Additionally, the professional advisor should incorporate that thinking and action in his/her personal involvement in the community, volunteering with and supporting nonprofit organizations who can benefit from wise counsel, time and resources.

Weeks after Hillary Clinton became secretary of state, the State Department objected to a proposed consultancy arrangement offered to Bill Clinton by media mogul Haim Saban, citing concerns about conflict of interest. Nevertheless, public records show that Saban’s nonprofit gave millions to the Clinton Foundation throughout Hillary Clinton’s tenure.

Yet between 2009 and 2013, as Hillary Clinton served as secretary of state, the Saban Family Foundation paid the Clinton Foundation more than $7 million, and listed $30.5 million in “grants and contributions approved for future payment,” according to nonprofit records filed with the Internal Revenue Service.

The Saban Family Foundation and Haim Saban declined National Review’s request for comment and would not answer questions about how much they had given to the Clinton Foundation while Mrs. The Clinton Foundation lists donations from “Cheryl and Haim Saban & The Saban Family Foundation” in the $10 million to $25 million range.

He was a major fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s previous presidential campaign, and in addition to giving to the Clinton Foundation, he has also donated around $5 million to the Clinton Library.
